Cool Cat's HVAC Design provides:

  • Heat Gain and Heat Loss Calculations for residential buildings

  • Duct Design/Layouts

  • SB12 Energy Efficiency Design Summaries

  • Ventilation Designs and Summaries

  • HRV Designs

  • Plumbing designs

  • All HVAC documentation needed to get a building permit whether your project is a new build, renovation, or addition.

At Cool Cat's HVAC Design, we work with architects, contractors, municipal inspectors and homeowners to assure that the HVAC and/or plumbing system is designed to meet building code requirements and satisfy the client.

We have a special love for older homes, and DIYers. We love the challenge of trying to design a new forced air system in a home that wasn't originally built with that in mind.

HOW IS COOL CAT'S HVAC DESIGN DIFFERENT FROM OTHER COMPANIES?

What makes us different from other companies is that we have decades of experience both in customer service and the hands on side of the HVAC industry.

Starting out as a gas fitter, then moving into sheet metal work, hydronics, air conditioning, and service work, our owner and primary HVAC designer, Catlin Homer brings a realistic view to HVAC design.

A great deal of designers have never even been to a construction site, let alone installed an entire HVAC system.

Because of the diversity of our experience we not only design systems that work well on paper, but also in the real world.
